JOPLIN, MO -- The film is called 'Joplin, Missouri: A Tornado Story', and was shown at Taylor Auditorium at Missouri Southern tonight. Joplin resident Chip Gubera, and his family, started filming events just days after May 22nd, and produced the film. The project documents from days after the storm, through some of the rebuilding.
Copies of the film will be available at Southern's bookstore for $20. Some proceeds of the sale of the movie will go to Rebuild Joplin.
