JOPLIN, MO.--- Phones were ringing continuously this morning at AAA Taxi in Joplin. The owner says they'll have an extra dispatcher and about 4 more cars than they normally would on the road. They recommend if you are looking for a cab you call an hour in advance. They want everyone to bring in the New Year safely.

"Whether it's the weather or you've had one too many drinks, don't chance it cab it," states Brad Baird, AAA Taxi.

AAA Taxi drivers will also accept taxi vouchers given out by Missouri LLC to Joplin bars as part of the Alert Cab Program. AAA Taxi workers want to remind riders if they redeem one of these coupons, it's free within the Joplin city limits and can only be used to take you home.
