NEOSHO, MO.--- Neosho community leaders are preparing for the 25th anniversary of Missouri's largest rummage sale. The Neosho Chamber of Commerce announced this year's citywide garage sale will last an extra day.

The shopping extravaganza will take place on April 5th and 6th. Organizers estimate there are more than 400 individual yard sales each year on average. Chamber officials say it's the largest day for sales tax revenue in Neosho.

"It's quite an impact. One of the things that make our community great. It's get people the opportunity from out of town as far away as Texas, Illinois, Chicago, we get people from Wichita because we do it the same weekend every year," says Gib Garrow, Director of Economic Development.

The chamber of commerce is also allowing people to register their yard sales online for free this year. To register online, click here.
