JOPLIN, MO.--- A Con-way truck driver is being recognized for hitting a milestone on the road. Howard Williams has been working at Con-way Truckload since 1986 and has driven 3 million miles accident free. He says he has had some close calls but has never been in an accident.

He says the trick to driving safely is that he never talks on the phone or eats while he's driving. He's seen so many distracted drivers and he says you really need to concentrate on the road.

"You got to keep your mind on what you're doing, on the road, or you're going to injure somebody else's loved ones," said Howard Williams, Driver.

Howard is going to get a special decal on the side of his truck that says "3 Million Accident Free."
