Oklahoma Texting and Driving Bill Proposal

OKLAHOMA.--- Oklahoma House Bill 1505 would make it illegal for drivers of all ages to text in a moving vehicle. Right now, it is only illegal for teens to text and drive. The measure was approved by the House Transportation Committee and will head to the Full House for vote. If passed, violators would have to pay a fine of up to $500. The bill exempts texts to emergency responders.
