Historic Neosho Building

NEOSHO -- The three story Shaffer Building was originally constructed in 1908 on north Washing Street. It has served as a wholesale grocery business as well as a sportswear manufacturing company. City employees say the application has been sent to the National Park Service for final approval. The building is currently vacant, but if it is put on the National Register, the owner will be eligible for tax credits to renovate the historic facility.
