MoDOT Enhanced Pothole Repair Initiative
Updated: March 19, 2013
If workers see a pothole, or someone calls in to report one, they will come out and fill it as soon as possible. MoDOT engineers say temperatures in the spring tend to change dramatically from day to night, and the freezing and thawing cycle makes roads more susceptible to chips and cracks.
"Safety is the first thing for drivers, also they don't have to dodge them, it's an inconvenience and can cause damage to vehicles," said Mark McCoy, MoDOT Site Supervisor.
MoDOT crews have been out looking for potholes to repair, but they encourage you to call in to report them as well. You can call the customer service center or report them online. Repairs will be made within 48 hours. To report a pothole to MoDOT, you can call 888-275-6636 or click here.
