Animals are Seized in Labette County

Labette, County, KS --

Last week sheriff deputies executed a search warrant at the home of John and Regina Fine.

Inside, they found 26 dogs and puppies and two cats.

The animals were seized and taken to the Topeka Animal Health Department.

Charges against the couple are pending.

This is the second time authorities have seized animals from the fines.

A year ago, the couple were charged with cruelty to animals after the Kansas Animal Health Department rescued 28 dogs and cats
