NEOSHO, MO---The team of eleven young men and women have placed in the top of three of all nine tournaments they have attended. In only the school's second year of having a debate team, Crowder is ranked amongst schools three or four times their size such as the University of Arkansas and John Brown University.
Debate Coach Jason Edgar says public speaking and communication skills are the number one skill employers are seeking. Another perk of being on the team is the chance to travel. The team has competed as far away as Shreveport, Louisiana.
