JOPLIN, MO.--- Hacemos Joplin will host a pet food drive this weekend at the Joplin Humane Society. The goal is to round up 500 pounds of food to donate to the shelter to help feed the animals they house, and give to families adopting new pets. In addition to collecting food, Hacemos will also be at the humane society's "Pet Adoption Fair" this Saturday, taking free photos of people who adopt pets.

"Any type of pet food, preferably dry food so it can be stored longer but the Humane society I know would enjoy the assistance in bringing that in, that's why we really wanted to partner with them to keep these animals feed," states Ryan Hinds, VP Operations, Hacemos.

The Humane Society's Pet Adoption Fair will take place this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4p.m.
