PINEVILLE -- An assemble line of Christmas spirit formed at the McDonald County 911 Center Saturday as residents wrapped up this year's "Operation Santa." This is the fourth year the sheriff's office has hosted the event, which collects items to be sent to military men and women who can not be home for the holidays. Volunteers and members of the high school ROTC packaged up the goodies for more than 200 soldiers. Sheriff Rob Evenson says Operation Santa is the least they can do for the soldiers who do so much for our country.
