Avilla Community Joins Together To Form First Volleyball Team

Drive across highway 96 - maybe a dozen miles east of Carthage - and you'll pass through a tiny town called Avilla, likely without even realizing it.

More students attend the K-8 school here than there are official residents of the town. And they wanted a volleyball team.

Here, the story of how that team formed, with tremendous help from the players, their classmates, and the community at large.
