Lamar high graduate Michael Moyer has taken care of the school football field the past two seasons, and has it looking as polished as any grass field in the area.

Moyer has a turfgrass science degree from the University of Arkansas, as well as professional experience working in Kansas City for the then-Wizards and working in Springfield for the Cardinals.

He's the leader of a volunteer group that works on the field for the Tigers throughout the season, but would also like to give credit to Donna Bailey, Tim Riegel, Pat O'Sullivan and Chris Wilkerson for their considerable time and energy.
