JOPLIN, MO.--- Findings released by "The Nonprofit Center for College Affordability and Productivity" say nearly half of Americans are over qualified for their jobs. The trend is likely to continue for graduates over the next decade.

The study is based on the U.S. Labor Department findings that the number of college graduates in the workforce is higher than the number of positions requiring a degree.

The study also notes 15% of taxi drivers in 2010 had bachelors degrees compared to just 1% 40 years ago. Researchers also found 25% of retail workers held bachelors degrees compared to less than 5% 40 years ago.
