German's home in Newton County was destroyed and he lost bo in the confusion. Luckily the Missouri Humane Society had set up an emergency pet shelter. They have been collecting animals. So far, 23 dogs and 3 cats are in the shelter. German says his dog's eyes instantly lit up once he saw him. If you would like to visit the mobile shelter, they are located at Gateway and Iris road. They are open from 7am until dark.To contact them by phone you can call 314-805-7252.
