FAIR12008-07-10-1215740883.jpgThe midway is open, and the sights and sounds of a real summer carnival fill the air. The 41st annual Newton County Fair is in full swing at Neosho. There's live music every night... including Dezi Hickman, Friday evening. Uptown Rhythm Section will be Saturday night's featured act. And there's a petting zoo for the kids. It's a summer tradition for many, including FFA and 4-H Club members who spend all year raising and grooming their livestock for the big show. The Newton County Fairgrounds are near Crowder College south of Neosho. Admission is free, and the fair runs through Saturday night. Don't miss the greased pig contest Friday night. After this weeks rain showers, it's sure to be a slippery spectacular!
