Joplin, MO - A Joplin family who lost everything in the tornado is pleading for help in the return of the one thing they had left: their beloved dog.

Nicole Gadea, her two daughters, and their dog Theo rode out the tornado in their bathtub.

When the storm was over, Theo's mate was dead and their home was destroyed.

Theo is a competitive American Bully.

Nicole says he was the only thing keeping them going, but yesterday afternoon he went missing from the Carthage backyard where he was staying.

She says she's not sure if someone took the prize-winning dog or if he's lost.

She says it doesn't matter, the family just wants him back.

If you've seen Theo, you can contact Nicole by phone at (417) 291-2033 or on facebook.

She is offering a reward.
