Heartland Crimestoppers: 5/3/2012

JOPLIN, MO-- As of 4/30/2012, Heartland Crimestoppers is looking for Joshua J. Mitchell. He's wanted as an absconder by the District 9 Probation and Parole Office in Joplin. He is a white man, 28 years of age. Mitchell stands 5'8" tall and he weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Crimestoppers is also highlighting an arrest in the program. David Wayne Slatton was recently taken into custody in Arkansas. Deputies with the Garland County Sheriff's Department made the arrest after a tip indicating he was living the Hot Springs area.  Slatton was wanted for warrants in both Jasper and Newton Counties for felony theft of services including scamming tornado victims. Slatton is the 17th person arrested in the two years since Heartland Crimestoppers kicked off.
