JEFFERSON CITY - A Missouri bill seeks to keep closer tabs on which residents are getting prescription medications. Supporters say the proposal would implement a statewide drug database to help track people who doctor shop for prescriptions. But opponents claim that infringes on patient rights. The Senate has given first round approval to the issue... but a filibuster in the House makes it unlikely those lawmakers will vote on the bill before the end of the session.
