JOPLIN, MO - Clark Howard, a nationally known financial expert, visited Joplin today to see the final wall being erected on a home he sponsored. He came to Joplin shortly after the tornado struck and promised to someday come back and help the community.

One year and $60,000 later he has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to make a difference in Deborah Morris's life.

"It's been an up and down year," said Morris. "I have 3 kids, all special needs, and they thrive on routine. This lack of routine has really messed with them, but we are well on the road to getting back into a routine and into a house that we will never have to move out of again," she explained.

Her home on Kentucky was destroyed in the tornado and after living in a shelter, church basement, and an apartment she is ready to get back into a permanent home.
