JOPLIN, MO---Way Beyond Events is hosting the 'Dogs in Downtown' event starting tomorrow at Landreth Park.

The two day festival will have a petting zoo and live music featuring a performance from 80's pop star Tiffany.

You can register your pet to see how far they can jump into a pool in the 'dock dogs' competition.

Event Organizer of Way Beyond Events Matt Osborn says, "There's a big push to turn Parr Hill Park into a community dog park, so some of the proceeds from this event will be pushing to help make that happen."

Your dog is welcome at all events during the festival. Admission is $7.00 for a one day bracelet, and $12.00 for a two day pass.
