Church Group Searching for Families in Need of a Home

More than 100 volunteers with a Kansas based church group are building homes for tornado survivors.
Project directors with the Church of Nazarene are still searching for owners for the homes.
Tornado survivors can still apply, the sooner the better.
The group is building three homes in the 2600 block of Pennsylvania.
All are set to be complete by July 13th.
The church of Nazarene is based in Lenexa, Kansas and has many congregations all throughout Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.
Volunteers from the different areas started building the homes this past Monday.
The outside of the homes are pretty much complete.
Each of the houses is valued at $75,000.
All are being paid for by private donations made to the church of Nazarene's national headquarters.
It's a total of $220,000.
"I think it's almost as much as a blessing for us to be able to do this for them and have us say here's a home for you," says project director Ally Barnes.
The Joplin chapter of the church donated $30,000 to the project.
More than a dozen Walmart employees also helped with the build today.
