JOPLIN, MO.--- Panera Bread donated 100 % of their Pink Ribbon Bagel proceeds from today to the Hope for You Breast Cancer Foundation. The gift is made in honor of Sarah Burkybile who lost her 5 year battle with breast cancer in August. Family members say Sarah was an inspiration to everyone battling the disease.

"She was always kind of the mediator of our family.  She kept us all together and you know that's where we got our support a lot of times.  You know, this has been kind of amazing. We can all get together and come together for a great cause," states Megan Tyler, Sister of Sarah Burkybile.

So far today, Panera has sold more than 24 hundred bagels, which raised nearly two thousand dollars. The business is also donating 25 cents from every pink bagel sold in October to the Hope for You Breast Cancer Foundation.
