JOPLIN, MO.---   The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Food 4 Less store today. Food 4 less opened on October 19th, 1992 and still has 8 employees who have been there since the beginning. The store manager says they're happy about the progress they've made over the years.

"We're hoping to grow a little bit more and hoping to stay right here. We'll get our customers that are little now, and maybe in twenty years they'll be buying their own groceries," states Brooke Rentfro, Store Manager.

They currently have about 90 employees.
