PITTSBURG, KS.--- Pittsburg authorities are searching for a man who tried to rob Wal-Mart. Officers say just before 9 last night, the man approached a clerk asking for assistance. He then told the employee he had a gun in his coat and demanded cash.The worker was able to get away and contact police. The suspect fled the scene in a small maroon passenger vehicle without any money or store merchandise. He's described as a middle aged heavy set white man with wire rimed glasses and thin brown hair.
