Webb City, Lamar State Champions Once Again

For the second year in a row, Webb City and Lamar's football teams leave St. Louis as state champions.

For Webb City, the 49-14 domination of Helias Catholic ties Valle Catholic for the most titles in Missouri history, with 11. It's also the Cardinals' first three-peat, and 45th straight overall win, meaning this senior class did not lose a single game in their three years.

Webb was led by seniors John Roderique Junior, who accounted for 210 total yards and four touchdowns, and Phoenix Johnson, who rushed for 144 yards and a score.

Meanwhile, Lamar set a host of Show-Me Bowl single game records, en route to a 69-41 win against Blair Oaks to secure the class 2 title.
