Pittsburg Downtown Development Director Announces Retirement

PITTSBURG, KS--- Judy Westhoff, Pittsburg Downtown Director, recently announced she will be retiring effective February 6, 2013.

Owner of Little's Inc., Patrick O'Bryan says, "Judy represents the best in volunteerism, community awareness and overall is a great supporter of Pittsburg. If Jack Overman is Mr. Pittsburg, Judy is definitely Mrs. Pittsburg."

Judy Westhoff has worked on multiple large scale projects. One of those projects was the City of Pittsburg's $5 million streetscape projects, which provided a facelift to downtown Pittsburg through the replacement of sidewalks and the addition of benches, lighting, and landscaping.

Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce President, Blake Benson says, "Judy Westhoff has been an incredible ambassador for downtown Pittsburg."

Westhoff throughout 8 years in the position, has many honors. She has been presented with the Spirit of Pittsburg Award, Outstanding Partner in Progress, and a Woman of Distinction.
