NEOSHO -- Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will be installing a traffic light at the intersection of Kodiak Road and Highway 60 in Neosho. Construction of the light is set to begin Monday, March 4. In addition, crews will be widening Kodiak Road near Highway 60 and adding left-turn lanes in both directions onto Kodiak Road. The Neosho Transportation Development District has been collecting a half-cent sales tax since January 1, 2012 to help fund the project. Once work begins, drivers should expect one lane traffic and short traffic stops at times along Highway 60. The project is expected to be completed by June 30.
