Missouri Population Growth Rate

JOPLIN, MO.--- New government data shows growth in the Missouri's population, while Jasper County numbers decline. The U.S. Census Bureau released new data showing the state has gained about 33,000 residents over a 2 year period that ended in July.

Saint Charles County had the most growth in the state adding more than 8,000 residents during that period. Green and Boone counties were 2nd and 3rd on the list of areas with the most population growth. The data shows Jasper County lost more than 2,000 people during that time period. Resulting in a negative 1.8 population growth rate.
