NEOSHO, MO---After almost two decades of preparation and construction work, Crowder's state of the art MARET Center is open for business. The structure is equipped with three types of solar panels and geothermal wells, which heat and cool the building using water. Instructors say it won't only be a leading example for people in the green technology field but also for Crowder students. The $5 million project was paid for by grants from the department of conservation and donations from members of the community.
