JOPLIN, MO - A flavor named "The Rebuild" was introduced this week in Joplin, Atlanta, and several Kansas City Smallcakes franchises. 75 cents from every one of these specialty cupcakes purchased will go towards Rebuild Joplin.

This fundraiser is the creation of owner Deanna Johnson, a long time Joplin resident who says the design for this new cupcake is symbolic of how far the city has come.

"Joplin has seen its dark days, they are are moving into their light days and so we designed it with that in mind, said Johnson. "It's a marble cake, it has both chocolate and vanilla flavors, it has the marble icing, fudge creme inside, and Candy Houses chocolate shavings on top," she added.

This is a limited addition flavor and will only be sold throughout the month of May.
