Tonight marked the 11th year for the bike parade held in a Carthage neighborhood.
More than 50 kids gathered at the corner of Belle Air and Grand Avenue.
They pedaled through the streets, dressed up in red, white and blue and holding flags.
Even their bikes were decorated in the patriotic colors.
One of the kids who started the tradition is now 14 and has great memories from when she was in the parade.
Carthage resident Emma Pound says,
"When we first had it we all rode our bikes and now the kids who were the first ones to ride their bikes-dont ride them anymore..now we just kind of hang out and its great to see the new kids coming in."
After the parade, parents in the neighborhood served the kids cookies and lemonade.
