Late Night Shooting in Joplin

JOPLIN -- Shortly after 10PM Saturday, Joplin Police Department patrol cars and emergency vehicles lined 15th street near the intersection of Michigan avenue. Officers were called to an apartment complex in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Monica Webb, 36, and her estranged husband Ronald Webb, 35, both suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both transported to Freeman Health System, where Monica later died, and Ronald remains in critical condition. The shooting remains under investigation, and police have not taken anyone into custody at this time.
