JOPLIN -- More than 2,000 people showed up at Calvary Baptist Church to take part in a worship service and receive a "Blessing Basket" Sunday evening. Church members raised $14,000 to fill each basket with the essentials for a Thanksgiving feast. Organizers say they are thankful to help families who need a little extra help over the holidays. Organizers say there were so many families looking for help there was a waiting list for the baskets.
