NEOSHO, MO---  City council members feel they have reached a solid financial point and more attention needs to be paid to their emergency services. Neosho residents can expect to see three new vehicles at the police department, costing a total of $60,000. Council members are selling three older city vehicles to help cover the cost. Neosho has also received a Missouri Terrorism Prevention Grant to buy four new mobile computer systems including laptops, docking stations, and antennas. City council members say they finally have the resources to improve Neosho's public safety. The mobile computer systems will allow officers in the field to have information quicker in an emergency situation. The police department will be receiving the new vehicles within 90 days.
