JOPLIN, MO.--- Whether you prefer coffee, soda, or an energy drink, most Americans admit they need some form of caffeine everyday. Many customers at Horton's Pizza Plus Convenience Store admit they spend at least $20 a week on their caffeine fix. Managers say customers spend anywhere from 99 cents to $3 or $4 on these caffeinated beverages in the store.

"Everybody drinks it, especially when it comes to coffee, pop, everything that has caffeine in it. Everybody's always buying that kind of stuff whether it be here or at the grocery store," says John Wynn, Horton's Pizza Convenience Store.

Wynn says he notices more people buy the higher end energy drinks closer to the end of the week.
