21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant

PITTSBURG, KS.--- Pittsburg schools received more than half a million dollars from the Kansas Department of Education. It's the 2nd state grant awarded to Pittsburg schools. The funds will help students with homework and tutoring before and after school.
It will also help with summer programs to teach the kids more about literacy, health and wellness, social skills, and problem solving activities. The grant for 21st Century Community Learning Centers will run through June 2017.
