JOPLIN, MO.--- This morning, Leah Collins got a "Job Genie Makeover Kit" from the genie himself. The kit came with a Nexus Tablet, carrying case, hair salon and dry cleaning gift certificates, and a briefcase.

Collins was the winner of a survey contest she completed at this year's Jobfest event. Organizers say they added this "makeover package" and contest to the job fair to bring a new dimension to the event.

"The Job Genie Makeover Package was an entirely new concept this year. One, we wanted the feedback from the job seekers to try to improve to make it better for them and we also wanted the feedback from the employers. So, this was a way that we could promote that and give a job seeker something that they could use in their future endeavors," says Troy Roland, Job Genie.

"I''ll use the tablet to hopefully find new job opportunities and just to browse the web," says Leah Collins, Job Genie Makeover Winner.

This year's 2nd annual Jobfest had a record attendance of more than 2,000 people and featured booths from 60 employers.
