NEOSHO, MO---The Rooting for Joplin group has been collecting trees since last August. This Friday and Saturday students will come to Joplin from all over Missouri to help replace lost greenery. They are still asking for local volunteers to help deliver and plant more than 1,100 donated trees.
Phi Beta Lambda students from Crowder College and Missouri Southern organized the event but expect more than 850 students to take part this weekend. If you are interested in volunteering click here.
