GROVE, OK -- This is the 7th year the Grand Lake Sail and Power Squadron has hosted the event.  There was enough trash picked up to fill 6 30 yard dumpsters which would placed throughout the city.  Grand Lake Sail and Power Squadron Representative Larry Stout says the lake is a vital part of the area's livelihood, and it's important to keep it clean.  "It's very important for our economy and so you want to keep your lake healthy."  Stout says.  "And we are!  We're one of the top Bass lake's in the U. S."

The money to rent the dumpsters was provided through a grant program from the G.R.D.A.
