MISSOURI--- Starting tomorrow, the Wireless Amber Alert System will switch to the Wireless Emergency Alert System. The Amber Alerts will still be sent to cellphones but with more urgency. This allows you to receive the alert even if you're in a "No Service" area.

It also sends an alert when a child goes missing from whichever city you're in at the time. The text will include any available information on the Amber Alert. If you'd like to receive the messages, you can follow a link by clicking here.
