JOPLIN, MO.--- Tonight was the 2013 "Cookie Crunch Off." It puts local media, businesses, and civic groups in a head-to-head battle. A new cookie was included in this year's line up, the mango cremes. One troop leader says the Girl Scouts are learning valuable lessons with selling nutritional products.

"We have cookies that are dairy free, we have cookies that are vegan, we have cookies that are full of nutrition. They're learning about products and merchandise," states Lisa Nelson, Troop Leader.

The KODE/KSN crew got 3rd place, finishing behind Lowe's and KOAM.
