CARL JUNCTION -- The Lion's Club hosted their monthly community breakfast in Carl Junction Saturday morning. For $7, hundreds of residents enjoyed biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage. Organizers say the breakfast helps support community service projects throughout the year.

"It's a fundraiser for us, so we can support the things that we feel we need within the community, and things we need from a Lion's Club standpoint," says David Harris.

The community breakfasts are held on the first Saturday of every month at the Carl Junction Community Center.
