Joplin Area Firefighters Christmas for Kids Program Results

JOPLIN, MO.--- The Joplin Area Firefighters Christmas for Kids Program received enough donations to help more than 850 kids. They also gave gifts to an additional 18 children whose families were affected by fires in November and December.
Money donated to the program was also used to purchase art supplies for area Head Start programs. Program organizers say although donations were slightly down this year, they were able to help roughly the same number of people by shopping smarter.
