JOPLIN -- The Big Brothers-Big Sisters of the Ozarks hosted their 4th annual "Biscuit Run and Gravy Walk 5k" Saturday morning. Over 50 runners showed up for the race, and after the run they were treated to a much needed breakfast. All proceeds from the registration help fund the groups programs in southwest Missouri.

"Events like this one and the Bowl For Kids Sake are essential to be able to provide programs for the kids we have," says Big Brothers-Big Sisters program director Don Greenlee.

Bowl For Kids Sake will be held March 2. For more information, call the Big Brothers-Big Sisters at (417) 626-9244.
