A bill that would reduce the state ownership of the Camptown dog track in Frontenac from 40% to 22%, and reduce the minimum investment required for managers of state owned casinos in Cherokee and Crawford counties has been proposed by two local state legislators.
Representatives Doug Gatewood of Cherokee county and Bob Grant of Crawford county proposed the legislation.
Gatewood tells KSN action could be taken on the bill as early as next week.
