Riverton, KS --  Cherokee County deputies arrest two Riverton residents for drug possession.

32-year-old Brian Bunce and 24-year-old Natalie Turner face charges of Unlawfully Manufacturing Meth.

They also face two counts of Aggravated Child Endangerment.

The Southeast Kansas Drug Task Force conducted a raid at the suspects home in Riverton.

Both Bunce and Turner were arrested after authorities found methamphetamine in the home.

Two children were at the residence at the time of the arrest.

They were taken into police protective custody.

"One of the things with this is case is that it wasn't a necessarily large manufacturing operation but our primary focus was that there were two small children, 2 years old, at the home so our primary concern was for the safety and wellbeing of the kids," says Cherokee County Sheriff David Grove.

Bunce and turner are being held at the Cherokee County Jail without bond.

Formal charges are expected to be filed Monday.
