The bill would allow Missouri law enforcement agencies to share records of the purchase of pseudoephedrine with other states.
Pseudoephedrine is a key ingredient in making meth.
Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves says it would be another tool in the war on meth.
The Missouri legislature has gone into recess for the year meaning the proposal likely won't see action until next year's session.
