Lais Leads After 23 Break Par in Day One of Ozark Amateur

What is said to be the longest continuously running amateur golf event West of the Mississippi River got off to a birdie heavy start Saturday. Barrett Lais leads the field after firing a six-under-par 65 at Schifferdecker Golf Course, but 14 others are within four strokes.
