MSSU had multiple opportunities in the first half to keep pace with Central Missouri, but a combined three points on two trips inside the 10 yard line doomed the Lions.

The Mules scored the final three touchdowns of the game and threw for more than 300 yards, while Landon Zerkel caught four passes for 150 yards and a touchdown for MoSo in the 35-21 loss.
